We are recent transplants from Southern California to lovely Loveland, CO. We haven’t totally left our SoCal roots though: case in point, we have caved to the pressure of blogging and this it, baby. Thanks Bret, Amanda and Liana! Springtime is here, so we are inundated with manic weather patterns and the return of many outdoor excursions. More posts to come on life in NoCO (Northern Colorado).

Congratulations on reaching the end of the internet. The only logical thing to do at that point is add to it. This is my first “blog subscription” and I look forward to the dirt & entertainment. Please avoid overuse of the word “like” we have enough valley in Colorado – Rick

HELLO ROWLANDS!!!!!
How wonderful to get an email from the both of you! It is was good to read that you have fully embraced your “nerdeosity”. I do not have a blog as of yet so you could say I am something of a closet nerd/technophob.
Oh, how I remeber the wonder Midwestern Spring months, snow on Monday, 80’s and shorts on Tuesday…It makes getting dressed in the morning a whole new adventure. We have been having our share of interesting whether here in SoCal; hot weekends (90’s – 100’s) to the mid 70’s during the week. I don’t mean to get political here but it seems that Gore may have been on to something.
Anyway, I just wanted to say “Howdy” and wish you the best.
P.S. How is school going…How are the teens in CO?
Take care & God Bless, John

Hello from your old stomping grounds. What a great idea. I’m with K.C., though, and haven’t ever been a blogger. Perhaps Jim and I should start one up too. HA! Actually, Lisa is creating a website for Jim. So very soon you’ll be able to see what he’s up to with his writing projects. You guys look good; life must be good. Keep up the blogging. P.S. Sorry we haven’t called you back yet. We’ve been crazy. We’ll call you soon; maybe tonight.

How random…

I am so ashamed…I tried my best not to raise a nerd!!! Phil, your nerdeosity was just too strong for me. Meatball is such a stud; chasing birds and squirles when even the birds are bigger than he. I love your site and look forward to more, much more!

Mom K.C.
Is there a self-help program for moms-of-nerds? No? Well, I will ask my clever, smart and talented ‘Colorado-kids” to do some research and get back to us!
